Why putting greens from Govorex

True, consistent ball roll

Precision-engineered putting surfaces play like a well-kept green, not a novelty carpet. Speed and roll stay consistent in every session.

Custom breaks and cup placement

We design slopes, breaks, and multiple cup positions around your yard's footprint, so every practice session actually sharpens your read.

Practice on your schedule

No tee times, no driving to the club. Work on your short game before work, after dinner, or whenever ten free minutes show up.

Looks sharp year-round

No mowing lines to maintain, no dormant winter color, no summer stress patches — the green stays tournament-ready with zero upkeep.

How we install it

  1. Free on-site design visit. We assess your yard's space and slope and talk through the breaks, size, and cup layout you want.
  2. Shaping and base engineering. We sculpt the sub-base to your custom contours and compact a drainage-first foundation beneath it.
  3. Putting surface installation. A precision, low-nap putting turf is seamed and secured over the shaped base for true, consistent roll.
  4. Cup setting, fringe, and walkthrough. Cups are set, fringe turf is trimmed in, and we walk the green with you before you take the first putt.

Putting Greens questions, answered

Does a synthetic green really putt like a real one?

Yes — putting turf is a different product from lawn turf, engineered specifically for consistent speed and true roll. Most golfers notice it plays more predictably than an average home course green.

Can you build breaks and slopes into the green?

Absolutely. We shape the base to whatever break pattern you want, from subtle to tournament-level tricky, and can add multiple cup positions.

How much yard space do I need?

Greens work in a wide range of footprints, from a compact chipping-and-putting combo to a full multi-cup layout. We'll show you what fits during the free design visit.

Does the green need maintenance?

Occasional brushing and a rinse to clear debris is about it — no mowing, watering, or fertilizing, and the surface holds its speed year-round.

How long does installation take?

Most backyard greens are complete in two to four days depending on size and shaping complexity.
