Why playgrounds from Govorex

Fall-height rated for safety

Padded underlayment systems are matched to equipment height to meet playground safety fall-attenuation standards, so parents and operators can trust the surface.

No mud, no mulch, no ant mounds

Kids move between the swings, slide, and sandbox area without dragging mud inside or kicking loose mulch everywhere. Fire ant mounds have nowhere to establish.

Cooler and cleaner than mulch

Play-grade fibers and lighter infill options are engineered to run cooler underfoot than dark mulch or rubber chips on a summer afternoon.

Holds up to constant play

Dense, durable fibers resist matting and wear under daily running, digging, and tumbling far longer than grass or loose-fill surfacing.

How we install it

  1. Free on-site design visit. We review the play equipment, required fall zones, and layout to plan a compliant, kid-friendly surface.
  2. Padded base engineering. A shock-absorbing pad system is sized to equipment fall heights, set over a compacted, well-draining base.
  3. Play-grade turf installation. Durable, low-snag turf is seamed and secured tightly around posts, borders, and equipment footings.
  4. Infill, safety check, and walkthrough. Infill is set for cushioning, edges are inspected, and we walk the finished play area with you before kids take it over.

Playgrounds questions, answered

Is playground turf actually safe for falls?

Yes, when built as a system — we size a shock-absorbing pad layer to your equipment's fall height so the surface meets standard playground fall-attenuation guidance.

Does it get too hot for kids to play on barefoot?

It runs warmer than mulch in direct summer sun, similar to any synthetic surface, but play-grade fibers and lighter infill reduce that, and shade or a quick rinse cools it fast.

Will it keep out fire ants and other pests?

The sealed, permeable turf system gives ants nowhere to mound the way they do in mulch or bare soil, which is one of the biggest complaints we solve for schools and daycares.

Is this suitable for schools and daycares, not just backyards?

Yes — we install play surfacing for backyards, HOA playgrounds, schools, and daycare centers, sizing the pad system to each facility's equipment.

How long does a playground install take?

Most residential play areas are finished in one to two days; larger school or community playgrounds are scoped and phased individually.
